Q. Are we able to join the Credit Union if we are not on assignment in the United States?
A. Yes! You can open a membership with proof of employment from Chevron. Proof of employment includes your Chevron badge and your letter of introduction/assignment.
Q. Can my family benefit from the services of Chevron Federal Credit Union?
A. Yes! Your family can benefit from the services of the Credit Union as long as you are the primary on the account. Minors are not eligible to participate in the MySavings Youth Account as a Social Security Number or ITIN are required.
Q. Is Zelle® a service that the Credit Union provides?
A. Yes! Foreign members without a Social Security Number are assigned a PID and able to use Zelle® services.
Q. Am I able to access my accounts from abroad?
A. Yes! You can access your account from anywhere in the world via Digital Banking. We also provide wire transfer services, external account transfers, and debit cards to assist with accessing your funds.

Q. Do you offer credit cards?
A. Yes! Secured Credit Cards are an option available to Expatriates that are on assignment in the United States. It offers the same benefits as a credit card, such as establishing credit, and will allow you to access your credit limit via card purchases. Elgibility may vary and subject to approval.
